Pride & Prejudice Photo Shoot at Chatsworth - Tonights TV Stars!

Lewis, Grace and Kay came in as tonight's top TV stars! What great fun that was to watch. My ugly mug did appear once or twice, but thankfully blink and you'd miss it! But me little old picnic was shown - aww, I'd forgotten how much I loved doing this shoot!

Our Chatsworth Photo Shoot Goes on Air!

I have been told by a few people now that the bridal shoot Go Glorious participated in last July WILL get some air time on in the final episode of Chatsworth. It will go out on Monday 28th May, BBC1 at 9pm.

There will be reference to the scaffolding which blighted the beauty of the house for several months last year, and consequently made life difficult for the staff managing Chatsworth's weddings. Many a bride was unhappy about the prospect of scaffolding as their backdrop! You'd never have known it was there on our shoot, such is the skill of Jo & Simon of Shoot Lifestyle Photography.

The Endless Charm of Vintage China

I was thrilled to bits when Catherine from Petalis asked if she would borrow some of the Go Glorious china collection to create a window display for her shop. Flowers in tea cups always look so ridiculously pretty - but when I drove past to have a look I was completely enchanted! Catherine had suspended the teacups on wires - it just created the most amazing display. I parked up and stood outside gauping for ages! What an outrageously charming combination...

I love the effect on this last photo - it reminds me so much of Bagpuss! The photographs were taken by Charlotte of C&C Photography - bang next door to Petalis :)

As you may have seen on Facebook, Go Glorious is about to launch a stationery range. Whether you are looking for a bespoke design, or off the peg, Go Glorious Wedding Stationery is the place to come! To get things started, I have decided to offer a competition for one lucky couple to obtain a full set of bespoke stationery at cost price. This means no design fee, and no mark up on any items - you will only cover the printer's costs. Your set can include day/evening invitations, Save the Dates, Menus, Order of Service and place cards.

I am really excited about this new venture. I have some outstandingly beautiful fonts, and am really giddy about incorporating them into some stunning designs. From rustic charm to elegant monograms or pretty vintage - I can accomodate any style.

In order to take part in this competition, all you have to do is send an email to me at julia@goglorious.co.uk to register your interest. The only condition for entry is that your ceremony and venue are booked, and that your wedding date is a minimum of 5 months away. Please indicate in your email the date, times and where you are having the ceremony and reception.

Entries must be received by Friday May 11th 2012.
